This warehouse was renovated in the early 1980s to serve, in part, as the headquarters of the Levi Strauss apparel company. It was conjoined with a new stepped building designed by Hellmuth Obata and Kassabaum. The landscaping around these buildings was notable, done by Lawrence Halprin.
