This second Childhaven building, (the first was in the Central District), was built between 07/01/2003-08/2004 in the First Hill Neighborhood of Seattle. A four-story building, Childhaven contained 11 observable classrooms for 98 infants and children under 5 years old. Within its 73,000 square feet, it also had collaborative research rooms and a library/resource room. Childhaven's "Building Futures" Capital Campaign netted $15,435,000 for the cost of the building.
