Disney's California Adventure Theme Park opened on 02/08/2001;

Tel: (714) 635-2300 (2007); this 55-acre theme park was erected on 55 acres next to the existing Disneyland Park, built in 1953-1955. Disney's California Adventure had five component parts: Sunshine Plaza, Hollywood Pictures Backlot, The Golden State, A Bug's Land and Paradise Pier. Together, Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure composed what was called the Disneyland Resort in 2001.
