This first city library in Modesto, CA, was built with funds donated by the Oramil McHenry Family. In 1971-1972, the library was renovated to house a local history museum, now known as the McHenry Museum. It opened 07/04/1972.
The building forms a cube, with its main entrance carved into the western corner.
