In 2010, Saint Albert the Great Church contained a Parish Center and Parish Hall. It was located adjacent to Saint Elizabeth Seton School which contained an auditorium and an extended day-care center.
The church was named for Albertus Magnus (1205 or 1206-1280), a Swabian (Bavarian) cleric known for contributions to Scholasticism, the primary Catholic theological movement of the period. He was perhaps best known as the teacher of Saint Thomas Aquinas.
