The City of Palo Alto, CA, designated the garage in which the electronics firm, Hewlett-Packard, was founded, a City Landmark in 1985; The State of California declared the garage California Historical Landmark #976 in 1989.
Alteration
This house was renumbered from 367 Addison Street to 369 Addison. Later, the house was made into a duplex, with the numbers 367 and 369.
The Hewlett-Packard Corporation purchased the entire property at 367 Addison Streeet in 2000 and had rehabilitated it by 2005. Rudolph and Sletten served as the building contractors for the renovation of the house and garage that occurred during the course of 2005.
