Prior, to 1977, the building at 6511 15th Avenue NE was owned by Thomas R. and Ella G. Neva; it changed hands to his son and his wife, Thomas W. and Patricia M. Neva in 1977; they sold the property containing their business to Hugh K. and Martha E. Sisley in 2003; Neva's Barbershop, a long-time small business, continued to operate for four more years, closing in 2007, when a 10-story apartment complex was being planned for the site by landlord, Hugh Sisley.
This two-story building contained 3750 gross square feet, 2500 net square feet. The lot contained 3,536 square feet.
