This house was a gable-front, Tudor Revival building with a projecting brick porch on the front facade. The brick porch supported a pergola. The front entrance was sheltered by a gable. Half-timbering covered the house's second and third floors.

This residence was purchased by the Pi Mu Phi fraternity at the University of Washington, Seattle, in 1923. Pi Mu Phi was a local organization composed of returning World War I veterans to the University. This local group became affiliated with the national Theta Chi Fraternity in 02/1925.
