The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians sought to develop 160 acres of land that they owned in Chino Canyon for a nine-hole golf course and 200 residences in 2007. Their development adjoined Shadowrock, a larger 288 acre resort project, being backed by Mark Bragg.
