This plant was planned to produce 40 million gallons of ethanol blended with gasoline for automobiles. It opened 10/05/2007. Pacific Ethanol received a cash infusion of $84 million from Microsoft founder, Bill Gates; this Boardman, OR, plant cost a total of $100 million to construct.
