The Corona Community Hospital was founded in 1933. This facility was erected in 1969. In 1969, In 1992, Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center, to form Corona Regional Medical Center.

In 2007, the Corona Regional Medical Center operated 228 beds on two campuses.
