Mrs. Rosamonde Borde owned and ran the Windermere Hotel, built in 1909.

A second building--designed in 1930 by M. Eugene Durfee--was adjacent to this hotel tower on its north side.

Demolished; the Windermere Hotel was torn down on 01/05/1962.
