Kaufmann designed this green prefabricated house for the West Coast Green Residential Building Conference, held in San Francisco, CA, 09/20-22/2007; this one-bedroom house, complete with solar panels, sustainable-wood cabinets, and a green roof, was erected at the San Francisco Civic Center for the event.
The house consisted of two parts, a large plaster-covered section topped by a shed roof lined with solar panels, and a long, rectangular section, sided in wood and topped by a green roof.
