This dwelling is still standing, and located on the property of Biltmore Hotel, Santa Barbara, CA.

This shingled bungalow, with a U-shaped plan derived from Mexican adobe haciendas, was well-illustrated in the press and presaged later ranch house designs of the 1920s-1930s.

Renovation to the Underhill bungalow occurred c. 2000.
