Notes:
This article contradicted an earlier 07/10/1932 article, "New Hollywood Cafe Planned Boulevard Deal Involves Big Lease," that appeared in the Los Angeles Times, that indicated that "A.C. Balch" was involved in the remodeling as well as "R.W. Schindler." It also indicated that, "Gore Bros. Inc., will make the improvement." This article noted that "Reconstruction is being done by Johnson & Aldous, contractors, under the supervision of C.A. Balch, architect. The expenditure, according to Balch, will be approximately $20,000. Inside construction will be in charge of R.M. Schindler, architect." This article may have been posted to correct erroneous information published on July 10. Balch's name has been changed as was Schindler's middle initial. Additionally, a new contractor was also named.
