Paul Thiry, who acted as a consultant to the Architect of the United State Capitol Building, commented on plans for remodeling it; the plans were controversial, and were made at the 98th Annual American Institute of Architects Convention in Denver, CO, in 1966. Portland architect, Glenn Stanton, and Los Angeles architect, George Vernon Russell, also contributed to the debate.
