"Ultimate plans call for the duplication of the first unit at the opposite end of the block, the intervening space being occupied by seven stores on the ground floor with an apartment hotel on the upper five floors. The erection of the proposed structure marks the first step in the construction of fire-proof buildings on Wilshire Boulevard between Western Aveue and Santa Monica."
