The footings, columns, girders, beams, floors, roofs, and stairs, exterior and interior walls will be of reinforced concrete. Harrison Albright, the architect of the building, states that it will be constructed in the same manner that he constructed the magnificent U.S. Grant Hotel, the John D. Spreckels Union building and the Henry Timken building in San Diego.
