The article said: "Camp Tarywood on Mercer Island will receive a troop of Washington Park Girl Scouts next Saturday for an overnight hike. Mrs. Winthrop T. Hovey and Mrs. C. Edwin Davis, leaders of troop 57, will go with the twelve Girl Scouts who recently were awarded their second class badge. A group of their mothers visited the camp with Mrs. Hovey last Friday to see the new lodge and equipment and to explore the ten acres of woodland given to the Seattle Girl Scouts by the Rotary Club."
