"Supreme Court Justice William F. Bleakley denied today a request by Willliam J. Swasey, architect, of Great Neck, L.I., for a reduction of his alimony from $100 to $30 a month, and ordered his property sequestered on the charge of his former wife, Mrs. Irene McNeal Swasey, that he was $1,500 in arrears on his payments. Swasey, who designed the Winter Garden and Shubert Theatre in New York, declared that his income had been cut to the point where he and a son were living on $1 a day. He is 65 years old."
