"Hugh Becket, tenant of The Metropolitan, has been informed he will have to vacate the old theater by November 1, the his lease will expire. Soon thereafter, it is expected, the theater will be torn down to make way for a new entrance to the Olympic Hotel. The site is part of the University of Washington's Metropolitan Tract."
