Henry Harold Hodgson was born in Pinner. England, a northwestern suburb of London, on 12/20/1897. The architect resided for a time in Shawinigan Falls, QC, Canada, c. 1920, a town known for its large waterfall. The abundant potential for hydroelectric power drew industries to the city by the early 20th century, including companies producing paper, aluminum and chemicals. He made his way to the US via a Canadian Pacific Railway train from Montreal, QC, to Rouses Point, NY, on 02/15/1921.

According to his death certificate, his father was Henry Hodgson (born in London, England), his mother, Mary Ghost (born in London, England).

Biographical Notes

According to his naturalization paperwork of 11/03/1932, Hodgson was Caucasian, with a dark complexion. He had dark brown eyes and brown hair and stood 5-feet, 11-inches tall, weighing 170 pounds. He was naturalized in the US District Court for the Western District of WA.
