Principal, Douglas P. Haner, Architect, Seattle, WA, 1973- . His obituary stated of his professional life in architecture: "After earning architecture degrees from the University of Washington and Harvard, he had a varied career including buildings in eight states. In the '60s he lived in Rome, where he designed buildings for Iraq, Tunisia, Lagos, Kenya, Tanzania, Somalia, Turkey, Italy and Germany. He worked on houses, schools, colleges, inns, hospitals, office buildings, a factory, an airmail facility, and even a mosque." He worked for various large organizations during the 1970s and 1980s, including King County Facilities Planning Department, the Seattle Public Schools and the University of Washington. For King County, he worked on the Kingdome and other buildings in Pioneer Square. His obituary mentioned his public school work: "For the Seattle School district he managed a capital improvement program encompassing 16 schools...."
