Directors at this time included Dana R. Weller, John W. Shenk, D.C. Casselman, W.R. Dickinson and Abraham L. King. All of these men resided in Los Angeles in 1920. Their attorney as George L. Greer. Relocation

Born in Houston, TX, in 1874, Frederick E. Engstrum moved with his family to CA in 1886, first to San Diego, CA, and then to nearby Escondido, CA. His parents relocated to Los Angeles in 1892, where Frederick attended high school and college. At age 25, he became a vice-president of his father's construction firm, and began a diversified business career.

Engstrum resided in the Engstrum Apartments at 623 5th Street in Los Angeles in 1915. (See Los Angeles, California, City Directory, 1915, p. 780.) Two years later, he made his home at 1825 North Wilton Place in Los Angeles.

He died in Los Angeles, CA, on 11/24/1923. He was laid to rest at the Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, CA.

He married Lydia Maulhardt (b. 1875 in CA-d. 1943) on 08/22/1901 in Los Angeles, CA.

Children

He and Lydia had three children: Edgar (born c. 1903 in CA), Gerald (born c. 1904 in CA) and Frederick (born c. 1906 in CA).
