Principal, Ernest Sanson, Architecte, Paris, France, 1865-1918. Sanson designed at least two residences in the United States: the first, the Perry Belmont House, 1618 New Hampshire Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC, (1907-1909) and the Harriett S. Pullman and Francis J. Carolan House, Hillsborough, CA, (1914-1916). Sanson designed this second house during the early days of World War I.
