A Honolulu office was formed in 1961 (when Killingsworth, Brady, and Smith were designing the Kahala Hilton); Waugh Smith retired in 1964; the firm reformed as "Killingsworth, Brady and Associates" (KB and A); the American Architects Directory 1970, (Chicago: R.R. Bowker Company, 1970), p. 488, indicated that the partnership, Killingsworth, Brady, Smith and Associates, spanned the years 1953-1962.
