Rose (Saylor) Littleton (married to Henry Littleton, 12/18/1906) and Mary Daum ran this hotel, that replaced the Marymere Hotel that burned nearby in 1914. The main inn building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, and was later renovated to serve as the meeting facility for the Olympic Park Institute.

East and west wings were added to the inn's main building in the 1920s.
