In 1923, the Harry G. Henley Realty Company served as the rental agent for the Brockman Building.

The Los Angeles County Assessor's Parcel Data indicated that the Brockman Building was erected in 1917, and had alterations done in 1995. Value of land was Land $5,000,000, value of improvements, $18,430,000, for 2011. The Brockman Building had a vaguely Italian Renaissance appearance, with a discrete tripartite columnar organization of base, shaft and capital. The top portion featured contrasting facing material to the shaft's dark brick, and had arched windows illuminating the top floor. A large cornice projected from the parapet. The light facing of the first two floors also contrasted with the dark brick above.

Donald Alex Barany Architects worked on the refurbishment of the Brockman Building into condominiums c. 2003.
