The Los Angeles Federal Savings and Loan, Sunset-Vine Office Building was given an Award of Honor, by the American Institute of Architects, Southern California Chapter in 1963. In 1967, the Los Angeles Federal Savings and Loan, Sunset-Vine Office Building won the Grand Prix, presented by the City of Los Angeles and the American Institute of Architects, Southern California Chapter; it also won an Award of Excellence, from the American Institute of Steel Construction in 1968;
