This smaller Palm Springs outlet of the Robinson's Department Store chain, opened in 01/1958. Unlike other Robinson's stores serving denser population centers, this store contained approximately 84,000 square feet, much less than the usual 150,000-225,000 square-foot stores common for the chain.
A major remodeling occurred at the Palm Springs store in 1973.
