In 09/1918, the Local Draft Board for Division #8, City of Seattle, occupied Room 211 in the Lyon Building. Architect Joseph Cote (1874-1957) maintained an office in the Lyon Building from at least 1920-1932.

The Lyon Building's entry and lobby were remodeled in 1950.
