Designed for the golf star, Marion Hollins (1892-1944), this was one of Wurster's earliest houses at the Pasatiempo golf course development, financed by Hollins. She was the daughter of Wall Street broker, Harry Bowly Hollins (1854-1938), who established his eponymous brokerage house in 1878.
