The Saint Brigid's School #1 was located on the south side of Broadway, near Van Ness Avenue.

This wooden church school building, opened on 01/09/1888, was replaced by a reinforced concrete structure in 1928. The school accommodated 150 students at the beginning, and was built for Reverend Father Birmingham, Rector of St. Brigid's.

This was a Gothic Revival Style building, simple in form, with a main gabled section onto which a tower with louvered windows adjoined the west side.

Demolished.
