This Neo-classical courthouse with its projecting portico supported by paired columns, had an octagonal cupola on its roof. The facade had windows flanking the portico bi-laterally and was two story. Windows were trabeated.

A black and white photo post card exists of the Colusa County Courthouse. (It bears the name "Eastman Studio B-7566.")
