This building was known as "temporary" Saint Dominic's; following the Earthquake and Fire of 04/18/1906, it was erected on the Pierce Street side of the block bounded by Steiner, Bush, Pierce and Pine Streets in 10/1906. It served as the church until it was replaced by the fourth Saint Dominic's Church built in 1928. After 1928, this third church became the parish house for the congregation.

This "temporary" building lasted until the 1960s, when it was demolished.
