The Samuel House featured an innovative concrete grid-form structure, that made it one of the lightest reinforced concrete buildings erected to that point; no wood was used in the structure of the house, only steel and concrete;

Extensively remodeled in 1989-1992 by Josh Schweitzer of Schweitzer BIM for actress, Diane Keaton; the design phase of the renovation occurred between 1989-92 with construction proceeding from 1990-92;
