Built in the Romanesque Revival Style popular during the 1920s, it featured an unusual hexagonal turret that housed the entry; land for the church was purchased 01/02/1924; a cornerstone was first laid on 03/30/1924 and the entire church dedicated eight months later on 11/30/1924.
