Like the Annandale Golf Course, Midwick Country Club's course was laid out by the golf course architect, Norman MacBeth; the country club, covering 208-acres, opened on 04/19/1913. During the 1910-1930s, Midwick was known as one of the more prestigious polo and golf clubs in Southern CA. Midwick Country Club disbanded In the early 1940s, and was later sold to neighbor Dominick Jebbia, who at one time was denied membership there. Jebbia dealt the property to the Midwick Development Company, an entity that built a housing tract on the grounds.
