J.S. Jennings served as the house's Building Contractor.

An early Queen Anne-styled house by William Weeks, considered by Weeks expert Betty Lewis to have been his first design in Watsonville, CA. (See Betty Lewis, W.H. Weeks Architect,[Pioneer Press Company, 1989], p. 6) A round turret marked the front facade, which also had a covered front porch. The frieze of the turret and the gable end of the front dormer had notable filigree ornamentation.
