Overview

Menlo Equities, headquartered in venture-capital rich Menlo Park, CA, erected eight office and research and development towers in a development called "The Campus@3333 Scott." The complex consisted of two groupings of four buildings each. A northern cluster of four office buildings had two large parking garages positioned on its east and west sides. A second grouping of four towers--3355 Scott, 3325 Scott, 3315 Scott and stood to the south.

Building History

The developer, Menlo Equities, along with Boston-based Beacon Capital Partners, purchased 30.2 areas of open land in Santa Clara, CA, in 07/2011. On this site, Menlo erected eight buildings suited for high-tech office and research development usage in three stages. When completed, the office park contained 1.6 million square feet. By 2017, Menlo had sold its holdings in the complex. (See Menlo Equities.com, "3333 Scott Boulevard," accessed 02/15/2024.)

In 2024, office space in 3315 Scott Boulevard had been leased to Aruba Networks (which was bought by Hewlett Packard Enterprise on 05/19/2015), Realtor.com and Edelman Financial Engines. Aruba had space on the first floor of 3315 and leased all of the 3333 Scott Building. HPE moved its corporate offices from Palo Alto to 3333 Scott between 11/2017 and late 2018. By 12/2020, HPE then decided to move its headquarters to Houston, TX, making its space in 3333 superfluous. It sub-leased 3333 to Applied Materials, Incorporated, by 05/2022. Aruba continued leasing space in 3315 Scott for a short time, and then left by 2024.
