The Wayland Apartments stood at 539 South Hope Street in 1910. (See Los Angeles, California, City Directory, 1910, p. 1643.)

Demolition

The Wayland Apartments were razed. In 1928, construction began on the California Club Building #4, located at 538 South Flower Street.
