The Spokane Spokesman-Review published this item describing the upcoming meeting of the Central Washington College Board of Trustees: “Approval of schematic drawings for the new language and literature building and a discussion of a proposed master of science program in speech pathology will highlight the regular meeting of the Central Washington State College Board of Trustees meeting tonight. The meeting will be in Hertz Music Hall, Room 123. Chairman of the board in Jospeh Panatoni, Ellensburg. Other members are Mrs. Frederick Davis, Kirkland; James Kendall, Quincy; Dr. Roy Wahle, Bellevue, and Dr. Archie Wilson, Richland. The new language and literature building, to house the foreign language, English, and philosophy departments, is being designed by Grant, Copeland & Chervenak Architects, Seattle.” (See “CWS Board Meets Today,” Spokane Spokesman-Review, 11/03/1967, p. 4.)
