Building History

The hotel originally opened as a Quality Inn and Hotel, but became a Holiday Inn-affiliated hotel.

A new building permit was issued by the City of Seattle on 09/27/1999. The hotel was completed the next year.

In 2021, the Holiday Inn Seattle was owned by Rainier Hospitality LLC.

In 2021, the Holiday Inn Seattle occupied a 23,520-square-foot (0.54-acre) lot. It contained 150,453 gross square feet, 115,718 net. The hotel had 197 rooms, each with one-bedroom and one-bath, a 100-stall underground parking garage, and full-service, 1,102-square-foot restaurant. In 2001-2002, it had a taxable land and building value of $12,164,400. By 2019-2020, this had increased to $52,415,300, but dropped to $42,901,200 by 2021-2022.
