Overview

The Mount Vernon Avenue School operated on the southeast corner of Mount Vernon Avenue and 7th Street in 1911. Sylvia Waters was the principal at the time. (See San Bernardino, California, City Directory, 1911, p. 124.) The site was later occupied by La Plaza Park.
