Building History

The mixed-use commercial and office complex the Village at La Floresta replaced the Union Oil Company of California's Hartley Research Center, built on this site in 1951. This UNOCAL facility was removed in about 2010, when the Chevron Land and Development erected this extensive retail and office development on the 119-acre site.
