The North Hollywood Village Mart was situated on the northeast corner of Lankershim Boulevard and Cohasset Street.

Overview

This relatively early supermarket building served many who lived in this North Hollywood neighborhood, located nearby to the Lockheed Vega Aircraft Plant. Prior to a supermarket being located here, in 1941, a real estate office stood at 7500 Lankershim selling FHA-financeable parcels in a nearby residential tract.

The US Fitness building occupied a 36,978-square-foot property in 2018,

Alteration

According to the Los Angeles County Assessor, some changes were made to the building in 1974.
