Overview

Los Angeles architect Perry M. Neuschatz designed this four-bedroom, two-bath residence at 17550 Prairie Street in Northridge, CA, in 1960. The house occupied a more than 17,000-square-foot lot, and contained about 2,300 square feet. The residence had minimal post-and-beam construction, allowing for great openness of the interior to exterior. Neuschatz also designed a large area for plantings in the unified living/dining space. Brick walls were used in strategic locations to provide privacy.
