Overview

This wood-frame high school was established in 1892, but completed in 1893. It served as the magnet high school for the cities of Hayward and the neighboring agricultural towns including Stonybrook, Redwood, San Loerenzo, Palomares and Castro Valley. It operated until the construction of a new union high school in 1911.
