Overview

Designed by noted Seattle architect Susan Jones for herself and completed in 2015, this residence was one of the first in the US to feature cross-laminated timber (CLT), a product developed in Europe in the 1990s. CLT plywood has shown great promise in resuscitating the moribund US forestry industry, particularly in Washington State.
