The Exchange Building was located at the corner of West 3rd Street and South Hill Street.

Overview

The Exchange Building became known as the Western Mutual Life Building c. 1920. The Western Mutual Life Association occupied an office in Room #302 of the Western Mutual Building in that year. Gilbert F. Stevenson was the Secretary and General Manager of the association. (See Los Angeles, California, City Directory, 1920, p. 2258.)

Building Notes

The architectural firm of Withey and Davis occupied space in Exchange Building during the 1910s.
